Sun Tea



Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water, preferably filtered
  • 6 tea bags or 6 teaspoons of loose tea
  • 2-inch piece of ginger, cut into matchsticks
  • 1-2 sprigs mint
  • Honey (optional)

Instructions

1. Fill a container with cold water. Place tea bags or loose tea inside and cover or cap lightly. Place in direct sunlight for 2 to 4 hours (depending on desired strength). Remove bags or strain and serve over ice.

2. To flavor the tea, add the ginger and mint. If you like it sweet, add honey. Serve over ice.
