1. In a large pan, brown ground beef. Drain the excess liquid in a colander.
2. Using the same pan, sauté onions, garlic and ginger on medium heat.
3. Add tumeric and curry powder. Mix well.
4. Add ground beef and mix until incorporated.
5. Add salt to taste.
6. Stir often and allow to cook for twenty minutes.
7. When cooked, set aside to cool, and then add chopped cilantro, green onion, and green chilies and mix well.
