This lovely mix of black and white rice provides both color and texture contrasts. The wild rice also gives the meal a nice gamy flavor twist.
Ingredients
1 cup white rice
1 cup wild rice
1 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Cook the rices according to their respective package directions (They cannot be cooked together, but they can be cooked in advance and set aside in a bowl).
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or skillet over medium-low heat, add the cooked rices, stir to combine, and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes (or until heated through if they've already cooled). Fluff the rice and serve on a platter alongside the Cornish hens.
