A Celebration of Friendship

Escaping the cold is just part of the reason I head south from New York to Miami as often as my schedule allows. When I do make it down to my apartment in South Beach, I feel relaxed the moment the plane lands. The sight of the gorgeous, sparkling blue water and the feel of the balmy weather on my skin instantly change my mood. Regrettably, I’m only able to spend a few days at a time and the trip is always too short for my liking, but a little rest and relaxation is better than none at all.

Whenever I’m heading to South Beach, I like to invite guests with me as often as possible. It gives us a wonderful chance to catch up and reconnect. I always make a point of doing something special to introduce my friends to one another and celebrate life, whether it is lunch on the patio, a great dinner, or even a quick drink before a night on the town. This gathering was extra special, and as they say, the stars were aligned for a fantastic evening. I had fabulous houseguests from LA staying with me, and by chance, friends from all over the world happen to be passing through Miami that weekend for an art fair. On top of that, the weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous. Everything was in place for an evening of delicious food and great company.
